The adopted solution tries to keep the ensamble's compositive and organizative structure by preserving the structurals elements of the industrial-domestic architecture and having the land-frame as a good to preserve. The façade is considered asthe piece that defines the urban space whose transformation consolides and qualifies this area next to the historic quarter's limits. In every moment is pretended to respect the ensemble's origin in all of its parts, old uses and areas in the definition of the sixteen houses' program giving value at the whole existing volume.
The proposed typology for the houses has as the mean layout the association of three fundamental elements such as the stairs, the stone fireplace and the dinning-room. The living-room and the kitchen are placed in the spaces around these elements. The position of this element is transversal almost in every house and it is adaptated to the largest building site's dimension qualifiying both differents bays. The principal project's objectif has been to transform the free interior space as the fundamental piece for the ensemble's spatial organization, as well as like an amusement place to develop all of those human activities related with the ecology's concern and the historic ensambles' respect
